updating apps

With ios6 on my iphone 4s, I no longer have to enter my apple id and password when updating apps. However, I still have to in my ipad3. I don't on my ipad2. Anyone else have the same problem?

When you borrow your phone to someone, or lose it, they can't go download crazy, on your dime.
