Updating to ios5

How do I update my iPad 2 to ios5? There are some updates that require it and I don't have a clue how to do it.

Settings> general> software update if via wifi, or plug into your pc with iTunes installed.

That's because you have to update via iTunes on computer if you've not previously upgraded to iOS 5.

Once you get the latest upgrade (iOS 5.1) via computer, you'll be able to do future upgrades via iPad.

Hi Jaecee,
I think that the Software Update was added in iOS 5. you may have to download the update via computer before you can do the over the air updates. If you are on four.point-something plug into your computer and update with iTunes.
When connected in iTunes click on your iPad, on the left hand side, and then in the main part of the window there should be a selection to update to the latest software.
