Upload mp3 from Dropbox

My iPad is synced to my desktop at home, but I am traveling, and would like to upload mp3's that I have made to my iPad. How can I do this? I have a laptop, but it wants to synch and erase my iPad. Can I use Dropbox?

Or is there anothe method to load an mp3 to iTunes on my iPad without using my desktop machine?

Via cloud storage like Dropbox, for example. Put into your Dropbox account via your laptop, and access from the Dropbox app on the iPad.
