Usb stick that works with lightning to usb camera adapter?

I bought a USB lightning camera adapter with the hopes of using USB sticks with my jailbroken ipad 4. However, most of my USB sticks get the too much power error. The only one I've tested that works is only 8gb and physically very large. Does anyone know of any specific models that work? I'd prefer something with decent capacity but very compact.
Thanks for any pointers, Jon

There's a compact 32GB flash drive by HyperMac that has a 30 pin connector on one end and USB on the other for iPad/iPhone and computer. Of course you'll need a 30 pin to lightning adapter but it's better than nothing. The company also makes a hard drive for if you need even more storage.

I know that some usb sticks work without any additional external power as I have one that does. I'm looking for others that are compact and reasonable capacity. Hopefully some others will have success and can post details.
Thanks again

I have given ip on USB sticks (due to the power issue) and have moved on to SDHC cards. I know they work well - at least up to my 32GB card.

If you don't have one - have you considered looking into a USB card reader? I've got one by Transcend (about $8, USD, at Amazon) and both micro and regular SD cards fit in it. This way, I have the convenience of a USB stick (as the SD cards fit in it) without the inconvenience of the power issues of the iPad.

Just an idea, because, again, I've never found a USB stick that works for me...

P.S. Here's the link to Amazon for the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-Flash-Memory-Reader-TS-RDP5K/dp/B001NS828K. It's on sale for $6.49 (USD) - though i've never ween it NOT on sale! :)

The above SD card reader (Transcend RDP5) does NOT work on an iPad 4 with iOS 8.1.2 using the Apple Lightning to USB camera connection adapter. I get the "too much power" message which I've also gotten on the two other USB card readers I've tried so far. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to spring for the $30 Apple Lightning to SD card adapter.
