Use the ipad as a microphone

I would like to talk to my ipad microphone and connect it to some speakers and I want the speakers to amplify the things I say live.. What app should I get? For free would be great. Thank you all.

I don't know of any apps designed specifically for this, but:

Devil Voice (for the iPhone but works on the iPad) is meant to make you sound like a witch or a devil; however if you set the meter half way between (Mortal) you end up sounding like yourself, mostly. I've used the audio jack to send the audio to a speaker, and it works fine that way (though you need to watch for feedback).

That said, there are probably better suited apps with more appropriate options.
