Using additional, purchased, storage.

i have purchased my 50gb additional storage, my iPad shows that I have 46.9gb available to use. I have paid my second lot of 79p! However, although I do have this extra storage, what happens next? What do I need to do to activate this please?

You can go to Settings>iCloud and choose just what you want to back up to iCloud.
iCloud storage is different from the built in storage that came with your iPad. It can be used for storing backups, photos, videos, etc. App data is also backed up. You can't use it to store extra apps, iTunes music and movies and TV shows purchased from iTunes.
