Using Icloud help please

Hey,
I have an ipad2 64gb and I am probably going to purchase an iphone 4s.
Regarding icloud and sharing the content on both devices do I need to get an iphone 64gb so all data and apps will fit on the iphione or
is the data app stored on apples severs remotely?

You don't need to get matching memory. iCloud is 5gb free space. Check out drop box as well. You might like that app too

You can also pick and choose what content goes on what device via iTunes.
