Using iPhone to control IPad 2

I am a newbie with iPad and iPhones. I have a iPad 2 and iPhone 4 and are seriously looking at buying a Mac pro. I wonder if someone can help me. I want to us my iPad from my iPhone similar as RDT (remote desktop). I am using keynote for my presentations but I also want to manage other apps from my phone.

Is there any app that will allow you to do this?

There is an Apple app that will let you control Keynote presentations from your iPhone. It's free and available in the App Store.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Brand new to the forum. There is lots of discussion about controlling an iPad remotely using an iPhone. I'd like to do exactly the opposite. I want to hook my phone to a TV via a VGA cable to display a keynote and then wirelessly control my keynote presentation from my iPad being able to see my presenter notes on the iPad.

Anything out there that I've overlooked software wise?
thanks forum members!
