If i redeem codes from itunes cards then later on buy things with credit card directly from inside app in app store, does it withdraw from my redeemed code cash first or only the credit card only. How does this really work?

Payments are taken first from any iTunes balance before charging your credit card. If a purchase is more than your balance the remainder will be taken from your credit card.
