Video movies from android wont transfer to ipad

I have movies on my PC that I copy over from my droid.
When I sync the ipad with itunes, it tells me a message about ipad cannot view these videos and it does not transfer them.

But, the videos open via quicktime by default on my PC.

Any idea what the problem is?
