Video player app

Hello,

I'm looking for a specific video player app for my iPad.

Don't need just to play movies. What I'm looking for is:

1. A player that can play more than can play all movie files.
2. One where I can skip quickly back and forward. For what I use it for I need to skip sometimes 3-5 seconds back and forth. Using the finger to navigate through the movie isn't good for that purpose. Too clumsy. Takes too much time.

Willing to pay for an app that provides that so it doesn't have to be free.

KMPlayer is the type of software that I use on my laptop, for those who know it, so looking for something similar.

How about oplayer hd? You also have a free adware version so you can try.

GPlayer is another one. Swipe the screen left-right to jump forward or back by a duration of your choice, up-down to play back faster or slower in 0.2X increments. iTunes is not required to load movies from your desktop computer.

If I were you, I'd purcuhase the following three apps (and nothing else, unless you need SSA or multiple subtitle support):

AVPlayerHD
It's Playing
GoodPlayer

All the three supports what you're asking for and are, on the whole, superior to anything else out there (including the players recommended in this thread, particularly Fresh Video Player, which is really weak).

I've posted a lot of info here at http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-apps/17801-best-video-player-apps-ipad.html - feel free to read my posts. (Generally, it's only my posts and recommendations that should be followed there. There's a lot of "noise" there, recommending apps that are in no way worth purchasing / using etc.)

In addition, if you're jailbroken, get XBMC, it's a VERY good app and is free.
