Videos movies tab has disappeared

When I bring up the "videos" app on my ipad 2, the tab for movies is missing, it still has a tab for Podcasts and Itunes U.
When I sync movies, they seem to get synched okay but I can't see them on the IPAD without having the movie tab to go to.
I tried renting a movie from Itunes, but I the rent movie selections are grayed out.

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help on this.
