Viewing Microsoft Office Documents

Is it possible to view Microsoft Office documents on the iPad and if so what is the best way to get them onto the iPad without using email?

We have an Access Database of our DVD collection and it would be useful if we could view this on the iPad when we are trying to choose one to watch.
