VM Ware on iPad

On iTunes yesterday they offered a VM Ware program that would allow you to use your iPad to access your home PC. Not being computer savvy, I thought it would be as easy as entering the IP address of my PC. This did not work.

Can someone please give me some advice? Thanks!

You need VMware's "View" server infrastructure to use this client. It's like their virtual desktop (VDI) platfrom. You can't use this to connect to a home PC like a Gotomypc or LogmeIn Ignition.

Check out the link he provided. The app you're referring to is designed to connect to a larger VMware infrastructure, not your local desktop.

Well let me explain what I'm trying to do. I want to access my old PC laptop on my iPad to play old games and such. Is this the best way to do it?
