Watch videos on iPad FROM an FTP server

Whilst at home I can use Gplayer to watch videos on my ipad through wifi.


Basically I have a WD MyNET750 router which has a server built in which allows you to attach 2 USB drives and watch videos from them on various devices attached to the router. My iPad and PS3 work fine and dandy in the home.


The router has an FTP server built in and I would like to watch videos on my iPad from anywhere using this facility but all the apps I have found and tried have FTP servers built in to send videos. I want to receive them.


Recommend me a decent player that receives from FTP please.

Ace Player supports ftp Servers and several others. I have not used it for this, however, but can check it out in the app store and write to the author to make sure.
