Weather app?

I was quite suprised to not see a weather app in the standard apps on the ipad.


Can we download apples one ? If not anyone recommend a good one?

Welcome to the forum. It's Good to "see" you and I hope you enjoy your visits.

Now, to your question: Sorry, but no, you can't get the default Apple one (as on the iPhone). But, as you've noticed, there are a bunch (!) available at the App Store, both free and paid.

My personal favorite, and the one I use over even the iPhone's Weather app, is "The Weather Channel" (TWC) app. It's a free app, though yeah, you get ads, but it's the most comprehensive for me. Plus, it's the site I always went to anyway on my computer, so I'm familiar with it.

Again, there are lots available. I'm sure others will be along to offer their opinion(s).

Thanks, yea it's a shame, I like to keep track of what's happening with the weather app. Kinda sounds geeky haha
