What's new

What do you least like about iPad?

file structure. No problems with hardware so far. I know I can jailbreak it, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Thought the lack of USB would bother me.
It doesn`t, since I opened a Drop Box account I don`t miss it.

Thought without Flash I`d miss half the web.
Didn`t realize half the web wasn`t worth seeing.
Most of what`s made of Flash is irrelevant crap and I agreed with Jobs about the instability/inconvenience of Flash before Jobs ever mentioned it.

The thing I like least is it doesn`t do what it wasn`t designed to do.

Work.

I`d like a file manager app so I can see what`s actually on this thing.
I`d like it geared as much towards creating as it is towards consuming.

I'd also like a few more choices of how I do view content.
I don`t like being put into Apples little box by not being able to do what I want with the media I download.

-No flash
-No USB
-No HDMI out
-No MKV file support
-File System is a jumbled mess
-Cannot subscribe to podcasts from the iPad
-No SD card slot
-No ability to play 2 audio streams at once*
-No organizing ebooks in the ibooks app
-256MB of ram limits it greatly
-No widgits
-Notification method is the worst I have seen on ANY mobile platform
-No wireless syncing
-No arrow keys
-Completely messes up on forums**
-Have to jailbreak to multitask***
-No customization - Hate the stock keyboard
-Stupid Spotlight page which I have never used once and cannot be disabled
-No native support for SMB - Don't like having to install new services on my PC or on any PC that I might want to view content off of.

*The reason this is an issue is that if you are playing music from the ipod and you launch ANY app that uses audio, like a remote desktop app, it pauses the music upon launching the new app. Annoying.

**Would not let me edit this comment for example. Entire box is just grey and I cannot do anything.

***Will STILL have to do this even after 4.2 is released, since Apple's "multitasking" isn't multitasking at all, but rather app pausing. Multitasking would allow a youtube video to buffer or even play in the background when I am browsing the web.

These are just the major ones.

I totally agree with this. Apple expands my mind by giving me an alternative way of seeing the computer, but then hems me in with their philosophy. This is one of the reasons I resisted Apple products for so long. (That and the high price point.)
