When resetting Password Keyboard won’t come up

Hey All,
Something happened to my Apple password and tried to reset it but the keyboard won’t show up.
Is there something I can do to solve this? iPad 3 Air

Try restarting your iPad. In many cases, this will help fixing bugs.

Are you using an external keyboard?

Password requests for no good reason have been increasing lately. Try simply putting your iPad to sleep and waking it back up. That's always worked for me to get a keyboard to appear.
