Why is adult content being blocked?

What is up? I am an adult who should be able to access whatever website I want. Why is Safari now blocking "adult related" content. Can this be changed? I have no kids who access my iPas2

You can turn restrictions off in Settings assuming they're on, which would be the case when your iOS is blocking content using parental control

Could also be the network you are on. When I use wifi at a certain Canadian coffee shop, all of the advertising gets blocked, with a message telling me so. Suits me down to the ground. The pages load faster.

Google can also be set to filter results, if you are signed into your Google account. This is independent of the device you are using.
