Why is the wi-fi connection on the ipad worse than the iphone?

I don't understand, why would the wi-fi connection be worse on the ipad than on the iphone, is there a way to improve the wi-fi connection?

What issues are you having? Are you on the latest firmware? Mine seems to work exactly like the iPhone...
