Why isn't there a simple app to sample audio

Hi, I'm looking for an app that will record audio, live via cck, audiobus or audio paste. With simple editing like trim, chop and reverse and again simple sequencer will do, as I'm recording into beatmaker2. I've got samplr and glitchbreaks, but neither of these do what I want. Any help appreciated.

Have you tried Garageband's Sampler? It is pretty slick.
