Why pad?

Why did I spend the money for such an addictive toy? Cuz it will travel better on my Harley than my laptop did...
I'm new to the forum, but I've had the iPad since New Years...Santa passed me over cuz I were a bad boy last year. Nothing's changed...too old to grow up NOW.
Got grandkids, didn' need no stinkin forum till now. Little buggers moved away, so....
Anyway, it's almost snowing, kind of semi lumpy rain here in the foothills of N. Calif...make that hail. Kinda bored, nearly six inches of rain in the last week..grateful tho.. I don't hafta shovel the rain & we still have power. I want my Summer back...cyberfish2

Bought mine for better portability and the fact it's just plain awesome. Now I don't have to worry about lugging around a four pound laptop. When I get inspired to write I don't have to wait two minutes for it to boot up. And I don't have to keep it plugged in all the time. My laptop only gets an hour of battery life.
And there's so much awesomeness and sexiness packed in there I just couldn't pass it up.
