wifi and bluetooth toggle in control center?

so, I get that I can toggle these two via control center, but when I’m done with either, just how “off” can I get them without going to Settings?

they can be deactivated in control center, yet still “on” in settings...it’s a little unsettling..I’m both power conscious and security conscious: when I’m done, I like things to be O-F-F. Not “kinda-sorta off but not really.”

Does anyone know about this?

thank you!

If not already done, take a look at this Apple KB Article - of course, 'Airplane Mode' will turn-off both BT & Wi-Fi - in iOS 11.x, both radios are turned off when Airplane mode is activated (more info HERE) - as you likely know these radios are needed for other services, such a Air Drop. Let us know if these comments and links help - if not, then hopefully others will respond. Dave :)

Not very. It's another confusing interface SNAFU that renders a formerly-useful feature (Control Center toggles) practically worthless. I cannot imagine why anyone thought a temporary toggle would be a good idea.

ok, so in other words, the “control center” merely looks like it gives control to the user, while actually providing none.
