Wifi Symbol Disappeared after jailbreak

I jailbroke my iPad with jailbreakme.com and since then when I connect to a network it no longer shows the Wifi Symbol next to the iPad word. Also, the spinning activity indicator disappears.

Is the device still connecting to the network? It may just be an issue with the graphics or the device may no longer be reporting connectivity. If it is still functioning then I would not be terribly concerned about it. I really don't look at it that much myself. Otherwise you can always restore from your last itunes sync.

Suspect its just an anomaly due to Jb'ing.
