will next gen iPad be called iPad 3

All rumors claims to be called iPad 3, if you check iPhone, you can find only iPhone 4 is using number as the name, so I suspect it will be called iPad 3...
maybe something like iPad 4G?

The next iPhone after the original was the model that featured 3G access, so there was no iPhone 2. Rather than called the third model, iPhone 4, they went with the 3GS. Once that practic was initiated, they had precedent for the 4 and 4S. The justification for iPad 3 is very valid, but one major expert on Apple trends is of the opinion that they may call it the iPad HD. The question is whether or not HD is a big enough feature to justify making it a defining name feature.

They could start doing foods like Android

iPad Cinnamon Apple


they could just rename it completely different than iPad.
