Will the camera connector kit automatically resize pics to save space?

I wonder if anyone know when the camera connector kit is used with the ipad if the ipad will give you the choice to resize your photos to save space on the device, or if they will be kept at the original resolution? This could be a huge difference between 1024x768 and a 10MP image.

it does when you sync thru itunes....no way of knowing what the kit will do until someone has one tho.
