I have just got a New IPad and I Use This App, but the attach photo function crashes the app and the app does not have functions for voice or video chat which are standard on messenger. anyone got any solutions, other version of this App or an alternative - I tried eBuddy but it's got less functions!
As far as I know, none of the forum reading apps have voice or chat functions. In addition, I believe that function is turned off in this forum (you can't use chat even if you could find a forum app to use it). I'll double check, however, and post back if I'm wrong (unless someone corrects me in the meantime).
For the "app crashing when you attach a photo" part - have you tried shutting the app fully down, then doing a restart or reset (or all three)? To do:
Fully Close an App: Double tap the Home button (or do a 4-finger swipe up) to reveal a row of icons in the multi-tasking bar. Press and hold an icon until they all start to wiggle and you see a red circle with a minus sign ("-") in the top left. Press the minus sign to fully close the app. Don't worry, it won't remove the app from your iPad, just from the iPad's resident memory.
Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Hold both the power and home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo then appears (the slide to unlock screen may or may not appear). Once the logo appears, release the buttons. After a time, your homescreen will appear. Please note that it may take some time for the Apple logo to appear or for your homescreen to appear (or both). This is normal. Eventually, the homescreen will appear.
Maybe that might help. I also use the Tapatalk app. You can either get the universal/iPhone version ($4.19, USD), or the iPad HD version ($6.49). I use the iPhone version and, knock on wood, I've not had a problem uploading photos.
