Would like to know how to open wmv Webinars I have downloaded from foxfire.

welcome to the forums.

The iPad doesn't like WMV files.

There are a few video players in the appstore that might help, such as the ones listed here:

Alternative Video Players: iPad/iPhone Apps AppGuide
but for best results, it might be easier to convert them to MP4/M4V format.
