YouTube icon disappeared

Suddenly realised that the YouTube icon has disappeared. I have checked it isn't in a folder and I have tried searching for it by typing YouTube in the search iPad box. I have an ipad3. Help!

Did you update recently? The app has gone with ios 6. Instead I'd recommend going to safari and search YouTube when you load the website, Go to the top left and select the box that let's you add to home screen. It will become an app on ur iPad but it's just a safari link.
Alternatively there's a few third party YouTube apps in the AppStore.

Hey thanks. I thought I'd messed up but, yes, I did update to iOS 6 and I hadn't realise this did not support it. Thanks!
