Youtube lag

I am getting really frustrated with youtube. Some videos load and play right away, but some...maybe half...take forever to load. Any suggestions?

BTW, using a Netgear WPN824N router with cable internet speeds of about 20 Mbps, but only seeing about 1/2 that on the ipad, but that can fluctuate down to 1Mbps when running speedtest.
