zooms with iPad

Normal zooms: two fingers: pinch = zoom out... reverse pinch=zoom back FINE! Well, I'm having a problem with zooms, at time an inadvertent two finger stroke gives me max magnification of screen. THEN, it is extremely difficult to return to normal zoom! What am I doing wrong? Have I missed some basics here?

Pinch out to zoom big pinch in to return to normal. Is that what you are doing?

Three fingers up to zoom in, three fingers down to zoom out. Go to "Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > (slide to) OFF if you don't want this feature. I personally love this feature and leave it turned On all the time. It's great for zooming in on a picture, you can move the view point around to see the area you want, by sliding three fingers. Really handy.
