Can't load I-Tunes with Quick Time ??

Hi All.

Tried to load I-Tunes on my second PC (XP) and getting the following error....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Quicktime failed to initiate (Error -2096)"

"Quicktime is required to run I-Tunes. Un-Install I-Tunes then re-install"
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Tried several times with the same result. Followed the procedure in I-Tunes. Deleted all the I-Tunes components between tries......any help much appreciated......Ken

I am not sure if this is exactly the same issue I had, but the solution ended up being that I had to delete all of my temporary Internet files and for some reason, it loaded right up!

Thanks...and yes I did all that. Even followed the delete/upload procedures for problems they have in the I-Tunes site and nothing, same error.

Did a Google on the error message # and nothing there either...Just my own post from here came up! Thing is..I can upload Quick Time by itself........Ken
