Is there a way to get back to the old keyboard that dose not have the numbers and letters on the same key. Every time I tap e it come up 3 very frustrating

It should only do the number if you are draging down on the key when tapping it. Though, it doesn't take a lot of dragging.

In iPadOS 17 you can turn it off by going to Settings > General > Keyboard and turning off "Enable Key Flicks". Once you do so, you'll have to use the 123 key (bottom left) to type in numbers.

I don't remember if the ability to turn this feature off existed in earlier versions of iPadOS. I was surprised to see it there when I looked.
