I had to give up my unlimited. I kinda want the iPad plan rather than the tether because I want to be able I turn it off from month to month. AT&T won't let you downgrade anymore.

Wouldn't tethering be an addition to your unlimited plan? I still have my unlimited 3G iPhone plan along w my 2GB tethering plan for iPad. You can turn off the tethering when you want. I am on Verizon though so it might be different with AT&T.

I don't have unlimited. I'm going to law school out of fate in the fall and beginning this summer, I will be traveling significantly for a while. Just want to kno my options. Verizon is too high for me tho.
