Has anyone ever tried to get a free app from the app store then when it comes up on my ipad2 it's on there but when I tap on the app it does not come up, just wondering, any feed back welcome, thanks,

Sometimes when that has happened to me, I look to see how many apps I have running in the back ground. To do this check your multi task bar by doing a 4-finger swipe upward to show all your apps and close them out. Then give it another try.

Also, if that doesn't work--you can also try a reset by pressing the home and power button at the same time until the iPad shuts down. Turn it back on and try again.
