Hello guys, I followed some steps on youtube to install ios 7 GM on my iPad. I did it. Now the software has bugs, it's lagging, dosent respond sometimes. Will I be able to install the real ios 7 on Wednesday 18 th when it comes out considering that my iPad already shows I have ios 7.0.??

If I can't, what can I do guys to install the correct ios on the 18th, thanks to those are going to help.

( iPad 3rd generation , wifi only)

Your best bet (well, other than avoiding beta releases ... even GM betas) is to downgrade to iOS 6.1.3.

And, the easiest way to do that (IMO) is to use this tutorial by my fellow moderator, f4780y: http://www.ipadforums.net/jailbreak...lsafe-method-restore-current-version-ios.html

If you follow all the steps exactly as written, you should end up with a stock iPad running the newest iOS.

Hopefully, you've kept your old iOS 6 backup(s), cause you cannot put an iOS 7 backup onto a lower iOS version iDevice. In other words, when you downgrade, you'll have to restore as new when iTunes offers you the option.

And, final thing - do this ASAP (read: now!) before the official release of iOS 7. Cause yeah, you'll be stuck if you don't ...

P.S. And I'm sorry, but I'm going to use you as an example: just because you can now get the Gold Master iOS 7 beta without being a developer - does not mean you should try to inSTALL the GM iOS without being a developer. As you can see, it may cause issues...

Thanks for the link, to try that soon.

1.Well , so does it mean I won't be able to install the new ios on the 18 th?
2. Second is, say apple release an upgrade to fix something , say "version 7.01", I will be able to upgrade that right? And at the same time maybe fixes the bugs that I have???

Because I was thinking of not downgrading because I have some data which I am afraid of loosing and to avoid some errors during such processes which may render my device unusable.

I think you'll be able to re-install the new iOS on top of what's on your iPad already. You'll have to use iTunes to do it, you can't do it over-the-air. Just make sure you have the latest version in iTunes before you start the upgrade/re-install.

I've never dealt with a beta before (I'm not a developer), so I don't know if an update to the iOS will fix your issue(s). You'd think so...

Hello guys I am back here, now the restoration can not work here, iTunes is telling it requires iTunes 11.1 which I can't get on my PC, what can I do now.

I appreciate the problem you do have but please keep all further info on this issue to this thread only as posting in multiple threads makes it confusing for others to follow and is also against our Forum Rules. Your other post on this issue has now been deleted.

Ok , thanks Mr/Ms admin, I understand. If you have a suggestion for my problem please help. Thank you

The best advice I can give you at this point is to follow the advice of Mickey330 who is very knowledgeable on these matters....but right now as you have jumped the gun (so to speak) it would be very hard for anyone to guess at your issues.

New iTunes versions are also released when a new OS is released. If you do not want to try a downgrade at this point it may be best for you to wait for the genuine release of the new OS.

Sorry I can't be more helpful at this stage.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to get iTunes 11.1 until iOS 7 is released (so, the 20th).

Therefore, your best (only?) bet is to wait until then.

After iTunes 11.1 and iOS 7 are officially released, update your iTunes, connect the iPad and select Restore.

iTunes should then do it's "magic" and put a fresh iOS 7 on your iPad; one that is hopefully bug-free.

Again, there is nothing you can do right now as none of the software you need has been officially released. Sorry.
