9to5 Mac reports that Adobe has just released its Collage and Proto apps for iPad. Collage is for “modern, conceptual moodboards,†and lets you import content from various Adobe Creative Suite applications, including PDFs, PSDs and AI files. You can also upload and access content that is already stored in your free 2GB Adobe Creative Cloud account. Basically, once you’ve downloaded all the required materials to the app, it enables you to do exactly what it says on the tin, i.e. gives you the right setting and tools, such as different pen types, fonts, and so on, so that you can make a collage of pictures, text, or whatever you fancy. Could be a great way to brainstorm ideas at a meeting, for example.

Proto, the second iPad app released by Adobe today, is designed to enable the user to sketch website and mobile app wireframe layouts with finger strokes on their iPad. The app uses a CSS grid system, WebKit preview, jQuery support and can sync wireframes to Creative Cloud and Dreamweaver CS6.
