Am I missing something with the Money on my ITunes card?

ya but if my phone has not left my house besides going to the store for less than 30 minutes when I received the text nothing should have done that because its connected to my house's wifi which means it should not be using my data up. I have been gone on vacation for two weeks around Christmas and used my phone a lot for the net while I was gone and didn't use as much data as I did I if the fist Three days of march when it was connected to my wifi and it said I used 90%.
