We were just telling you that Apple has had the most profitable quarter in the history of any company and now it's time to speak about another amazing record.
During Apple’s Q1 earnings call with investors, CEO Tim Cook announced that the company sold its billionth iOS device back in November.
He said that the billionth device was a 64GB iPhone 6 Plus and that Apple is going to keep it at its headquarters in honor of the milestone.
The news comes as Apple has sold a new record of iPhones and it has witnessed an all-time high revenue coming from app sales.
Google said it activated more than 1 billion Android devices back in September of 2013, but what Apple has managed to achieve on its own is indeed something absolutely incredible.
