There are many cloud storage services out there, and one of the most important ones is Amazon’s Cloud Drive utility. And today, Amazon has updated its Cloud Drive Photos iOS which lets you store, view and access photographs and video files. The application has been updated to version 3.0 and redesigned to iOS 7’s look and feel. If you are new to the service, you can sign up for the free plan and you will receive 5 gigabytes to use for your media files.

Amazon Cloud Drive Photos makes it easy to protect and enjoy your photos and personal videos. Get started storing the memories on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with 5 GB free. Your photos and personal videos are saved to the cloud automatically so you don’t have to worry about losing them, even if your device gets lost or damaged. Install Cloud Drive on your computer, too, so you can have your entire collection in one place.

The new version brings a bunch of other improvements besides the design revamp, such as the simple navigation tool which lets you quickly get to your most frequently used features; sorting which allows for your videos and photos to be sorted in albums by date and name and upload enhancements which let you see the progress and status of your automatic or manual uploads.

Also, the new version of the app brings the timeline view which lets you see your history of photos and videos. The improved background uploading comes with a much needed upgrade, as now your photos and videos can be automatically saved for you. As usually, various crashes and bugs have been taken care of.

Thank you, also downloaded it. Looks neat and easy to use. Doesn't like iPads as much...only available in portrait view.
