An Apple-loving granny

I'm guessing I acquired my first Apple before most of you on the forum were born. It was in 1986, certainly before Windows was born (I had a computer geek friend who used to say "Windows '95. Apple '86") and it's in the attic. I can still remember the absolute thrill of finding a little desk-top computer that spoke human, not IBM. Folders and icons and a mouse - what a revelation. I'm now a granny with a MacBook or two and a brand new shiny i-Pad which my lovely husband bought me for my 65th birthday two weeks ago. We live in the country and have a great life but I'm a towny, really. :)

Great intro!! Love how you talked about where you started in the Apple world!!
