I have an iPad and an iPhone 2g and I'd like to use the iPhone to read on the bus etc. so I'd like to have books on both and have the bookmarks in sync.
Ideally having everything in iBooks would be exactly what I need. But of course Apple has dropped support for iphone 2g in ios4 (grumble grumble $&@*%# Apple) and iBooks is ios4/3.2 only.
So I'll need another app that can read ebooks & sync bookmarks/current position that's available for ios 3 on iPhone + iPad.
Anything like that out there?
I tried the kindle app but it only cares about it's own content purchased from amazon and I'm 100% not interested in buying from kindle store. Seems like you can also use your own content but then you need to email it to amazon and pay them each time (WTF?)
