Asked Apple they said take it back to John Lewis so gonna tomos then be without IPad till 4th gen released hope its worth all this hassle

That's fabulous news! It's hard... Day one without my iPad and 24 hours feels like 96 hours. but I'm sure it will be worth it

Yes John Lewis says has to be totally unblemished which it is but really not looking forward to being without it ,not been a day that not used it since buying it lol.

Dear friends don't buy apple iPad 4 because apple is no more trust worthy and they may plan to release a new iPad (iPad 5) after a couple of days of iPad 4 . Don't worry. They'll run out of superlatives soon and all will be good. After New-Newer-Newest there's not really anywhere to go, so iPad development will have to stop, and everyone can have the latest and greatest, secure in the knowledge that the Jones' won't have anything better.

Of course, Samsung will be exempt from this nonsense, so they'll just keep bringing out newer and better Galaxy's etc, and Apple will go the way of the dinosaur.

I trying to get refund on my 3rd generation through John Lewis as only bought 5/10/12 and not happy but not got back to me yet

Well been to John Lewis today and was told I could have £40. Back as it was now £439 not £479 and that was it so looks I staying with my 3rd gen as no returns as been used

That's the last time I buy an Apple product I have been a PC user for ever and although I know that a similar Windows product I.e. a tablet, could not be upgraded with a desktop if they need upgrading it's easy to do it, so what apple has done with the iPad could be the same for there desktop products I bought my iPad 6 weeks ago.
