Huh? Stupid upgrade? Faster processors, retina display, better camera, 4G support - all at the same price in an annul refresh.

The biggest win is in graphics processing, where the processing tasks are divided an executed simultaneously, resulting in extremely fast image rendering.

This is where the multi core processors shine.

And that is why the A5X has a quad core GPU. That still doesn't necessitate a quad core CPU that will be sitting there idle and wasting battery.

Yes and graphics processing is used multiple softwares and not just GAMES...so imagine the speed with which a QUAD core will do so on ipad...would love to play UNCHARTED or FALLOUT someday on ipad though i know it wud never happen. You got to admit this is an even more stupid Upgrade than the 4S by APPLE..All they are doing is minting money coz they know its gonna sell anyway! :/

The iPad (3rd Gen) has a quad core GPU already inside the A5X. To play Uncharted or Fallout would require more than a quad core CPU and quad core GPU. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are not only multi-core CPU and GPUs but also multi threaded CPUs. The PS3 can hardware execute 8 threads at one time and the XBox 360 can hardware execute 6 threads at one time. Put that much power into the iPad and it would drain the battery in less than 90 minutes.

Stupid upgrade bcoz camera aint the big feature anybody uses..they cud have put Siri in it (Full)..they make it thicker for a bigger battery..why not increase its efficiency? The only real upgrade is the RETINA Display..thats it.All hey give is a bigger iphone 4s without Siri :/
