Apple app store submission

We are developing an iPad application using SDK 4.2. The application was tested using iOS 4.2,4.3 and 5.0. We are planning to submit the application to app store. Is it necessary that the application needs to be developed using SDK 5.0 to get the approval from apple?

it's not necessary,
i developed my apps using SDK 4.2 and now i got approval from apple 2day ago.
