Apple TV with iPad mini

For some reason I cannot link my iPad to Apple TV. I do not see a mirror icon anywhere. What the heck am I doing
wrong?

Had this once with my iPad Mini - a hard reset sorted it out; press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple logo comes on the screen, then release them and let the iPad restart as usual.

Thanks, finally found it. I guess not all video content can be streamed, some did not give the mirror icon, others did. What a nifty thing!
