Apple watch 10th anniversary

The Apple Watch was first released on April 24, 2015. The upcoming 10th anniversary of the release will be in 18 days.
Did anyone get their first Apple Watch on release day?
I received mine at 1:30pm on release day.

Not on release day unfortunately, but I’ve had 3 Apple Watches, the first a Series 2 in Dec 2016, the second a Series 6 in Sept 2020, and my present Ultra in Jan 2023.
I still keep the Series 6 up to date (just in case), and I really don’t feel dressed when I’m not wearing my Apple Watch.

Here in Austria, we had to wait about 6 months until we were allowed to order an Apple Watch. My very first AW arrived in January 2016. I gave it to my daughter a few years later, and she used it until a few years ago.

I had an original. I don't remember if it was on release day or not, but it would have been shortly after.

Mine was the polished stainless steel case, sapphire crystal and Milanese loop.
