Apps disconnected mid download and will not finish

Is there any way to fix an application that was stopped mid download and now will not finish. I do not want to delete the application as it will make me start over (I think)

I also had this problem but my complaining is if i download an app i see it 5 seconds on my desk And thema lts gone of can i prvent this?
