apps syncing after system restore

I recently had to restore my ipad, due to a windows crash and when I restored my backed up itunes the apps did not transfer. I have also tried to manually sync them, but that does not work either.

Applications is the only thing that Dose SYNC both ways, meaning it will always fill up the missing ones from the iPAD or the iTunes,

Have you reactivated iTunes on your computer? It can be done via Store->Authorize this computer. If so it should copy your applications across when syncing.

The apps are in my iTunes, but when I drag them to the iPad they don't "stick". As soon as I hit the APPLY button they disappear from the ipad again.
