AppStore gift card

I bought à AppStore Gift Card in Germany. I wanted to use the card in the Dutch AppStore, but it did not work. The number on the card was taken as invaled. Somebody out there with à clou??

You can only use the gift cards for the country they are made for. In other words, the Germany gift card will not work in the Dutch store.
